About CODAZIM

A youth-driven response to the risks — and the promise — of the digital era.

Children of the Digital Age Zimbabwe was founded by child-protection advocates, digital-safety practitioners and community leaders responding to rising online child sexual exploitation, cyberbullying, online gender-based violence and unsafe use of AI tools.

Background

CODAZIM exists to safeguard children and young people from online harm while equipping them with the knowledge, skills and confidence to thrive in a technology-driven world. Our work aligns with Zimbabwe's national digital transformation agenda, national child protection policies, and international child rights frameworks including the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.

We promote a holistic approach that integrates online safety, digital literacy, psychosocial support, economic empowerment and youth leadership development — complementing, never duplicating, government effort.
